Ce groupe de travail récurrent, créé en 2007 par Valérie Girardin et Brigitte Vallée, réunit des collègues de mathématiques, d'informatique et de théorie du signal.

 Le GT vient de fêter ses vingtièmes journées, dont les deux tiers ont eu lieu à Caen et les autres en France dans les universités des participants. Le format inclut des exposés des participants et d'invités extérieurs,  sur deux jours, avec des temps d'échanges et un dîner convivial.   

Les journées de printemps, d'automne ou d'hiver, sont ouvertes à tous sans inscription préalable.

Created in 2007 by Valérie Girardin and Brigitte Vallée, the working group gathers French speaking researchers in mathematics, statistics, computer sciences and signal theory interested in information theory and its applications. 

Twenty workshops have already taken place in Caen mainly, and also in Marne la Vallée, Nanterre, Grenoble, Reims, Calais, Amiens. Organized over two days, they include talks from specialists, time for ideas and discussion, and a friendly diner.
